Knee Treatment

Like the hips, the knees support an enormous amount of weight, and they are responsible for a wide range of motion that makes them very frequent targets for injury, arthritis and other painful syndromes. Resorting to painful, costly surgery is the absolute last resort which can drastically impact the quality of your life. Over the last several years we have formulated a different, radical approach using same-day stem cell treatment, prolotherapy, hormone balancing and nutrition counseling .

Knee Mobility

Knee pain is extraordinarily common and bothersome. It greatly affects many people and is one of the main causes of decreased mobility in people. Decreased mobility is correlated with a rapid decline in overall health. Better to treat this joint degeneration before the knee is “bone on bone.” Once beyond a certain point, knee pain has but one viable treatment: total knee replacement.

The Risks

of Knee Surgery

This surgery is far, far from trivial. Imagine both ends of your leg bones on either side of the knee joint being hacksawed off and then artificial metal-plastic implants glued or screwed into place. I advise you to avoid this surgery if possible. Of course, sometimes it is necessary. But you should have it only if it’s absolutely necessary.

The risk of general anesthesia, combined with actual surgical risk is very significant. Post-operative complications, like infection, and blood clots as well as incomplete healing or incomplete rehabilitation leaves many patients very badly off, or worse … dead.

At least x percent of people will have knee pain in their lives. It is ridiculous and dangerous to think that all of them would need or benefit from surgery. That is not only unfeasible but also not a good use of our medical resources and your money. There are not enough surgeons to treat all the patients who have knee pain.

An experienced, well-trained prolotherapy doctor treats seven patients for knee pain for every other joint pain they treat. That’s right; there are seven times as many people who suffer from knee pain as all other joint problems.
Why Knee Reconstruction

Should be a Last Resort

Thankfully, there are other options. Knees are by far the most common joints treated by advanced therapies like prolotherapy and cellular therapies.

Like the hips, the knees support an enormous amount of weight, and they are responsible for a wide range of motion that makes them very frequent targets for injury, arthritis and other painful syndromes.

However, before you resort to knee replacement surgery, you should seriously consider alternatives including same-day cellular treatments, which may offer a softer, gentler approach to joint, cartilage and ligament pain.

Consider these statistics outlined by the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC): Nearly one in two people may develop symptomatic knee osteoarthritis by age 85 years. More troubling, two out of three people who are obese can develop symptomatic knee arthritis in their lifetime.

The Risks

of Knee Surgery

Traditional medicine usually advocates treating these consequences of lifestyle, aging and poor diets through invasive surgery. This drastic approach adds enormously to medical costs and the personal wealth of bone surgeons.

When you consider that modern alternatives exist, including cellular therapies and additional nutritional counseling options (which battle other causes for knee pain issues, including obesity and inflammation) it is less clear that surgery is the only option.

Treatment Options

For Osteoarthritis

By the age 65 men and women lose bone density at the same rate, according to the Harvard Medical Review. The end result is worrying bone fractures and other side effects that often up with doctors recommending costly and terrifying surgery. Read more about this subject and what alternatives we offer.
